I say this often and I will continue saying it, our body is and will always be the most precious thing we will have. It is our true home and vehicle that we will ever own. Therefore, listening to your body is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Without your body, without your health, without your well-being, you really have nothing. It is your health and well-being that will help you do your daily chores. It is your health and well-being that will help you care for your family, that you are able to live a full life. The biggest proof that all this is true is when you get sick. In this case, you don’t have the strength to do the things you do daily, you probably don’t even have the strength to be happy. These are the moments where we tend to take care of ourselves the most and it shouldn’t be this way. We have to take care of ourselves every day, eat well everyday, have an active lifestyle and listen to our body everyday.
Your well-being is a matter of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Well-being is not saying to yourself “I’m going to take care of myself for 2 months” and then you go back to a disorganized lifestyle. No. This is why it is so essential that you listen to your body. Your body is constantly communicating to you. Do you feel any pain in your body? Find out the root cause of the pain, this is a sign that your body is giving you that something is going on. Do you feel stress in any part of your body?
